Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has urged the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to publish the statistics on the level of attendance of parliamentary committees meetings by people's deputies of Ukraine on the official website of the Ukrainian Parliament.
According to Groysman, the low plenary and committees meetings attendance level is one of the hugest problems and reasons why the Ukrainian society is dissatisfied with the work of the Ukrainian Parliament.
Groysman noted that the Parliament would intensify publication of the level of attendance at the committees meetings.
Besides, in compliance with preliminary agreement, the information about the people's deputies attendance will be delivered to voters through the network of non-government organizations, Groysman informed.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada noted that there was no tool to influence on deputies. "I can only ask one or another faction head to draw attention of one or another deputy to the fact of his attendance," he said.
The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada also expressed confidence that in 2-3 weeks, the people's deputies will elaborate the plan for the recommendations received from the European Parliament as to the internal reform of the Verkhovna Rada. In view of this, Groysman said that political forces will have to take the decisions on their introduction.
